4 out of 5 shelves in the family room are crowded with books & journals from my PhD work. Earning that degree with a family at home and a job for most of those years took forever. So I was too old to ever become a lecturer or anything but an adjunct professor. If I could do it over, I would go for a MLS (Master’s in Library Science) since I love books and libraries. But I do not love my two-volume set by Max Weber. The whole thing makes me sad. So why don’t I remove them from my life? My dissertation topic was interesting, and I could keep the few relevant volumes. Any suggestions? Bonfire?

I'm so grateful to have come across these very helpful suggestions on how to get rid of clutter. I've been trying to declutter, but always seem to get stuck. The information on Dialectical Behaviour Therapy really helped me to understand the underlying reason why. All of these articles are so helpful as I go about my decluttering journey. Thank you for sharing them.
