I quickly went through your blog. I think that’s what it was, but I am in the grief stages. My husband passed away six months ago. He had a condo in Kentucky And also three storage units in California. I’ve been in the process of moving his whole home from Kentucky and it’s now in my little townhouse full in my garage and in my bedrooms, I’ve also gone through a storage unit and it brought most of it back, I still have others left. My husband was very organized, but has boxes and boxes and boxes of paperwork. Things he saved from his business of 40 years all of a sudden that deer head that he mounted that I never cared for is in my home in my living room. I don’t know what to do with it and how do I get rid of it? It was his first one when he was 15 years old. It’s ridiculous. I can’t even function in the grief of his stuff and now I don’t have places of belonging for my own stuff. I feel like I belong on the TV show hoarders. We parked two SUVs in my garage. I can barely even squish through it as I walk in there now. I went from minimalist living to I don’t even know where or who I am? I’m embarrassed to even have people come in and help me or let them know how bad it is except when I open up my garage door, everybody can see what a catastrophe I am in. He had tons of expensive art on his walls in his condo. I have them all they’re not my style, I don’t even know where to go to sell them, which I definitely need the money so they’re all stored in corners of my home. I’m a mess. I could probably teach the course at one time, now my head space doesn’t know what to do or how to let go.
